The Youth Ministry of Grace is geared for students in 6th – 12th grade. The goal is for each student to know that Jesus Christ loves them, died for them, and wants a relationship with them. Also, each student is taught how to learn from God’s Word, and apply it in a practical way to everyday life.
The primary youth service is on Sunday Evenings at 6:00pm. Additionally, there are numerous events and gatherings each month.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
ADULT LEADER:
Must be able to talk to teens, have fun, be punctual, and follow the direction and leadership of the youth minister. Leaders are also required to attend monthly leadership meetings, and to attend various equipping and training events offered throughout the year. May be asked to lead games, help with events, gather supplies, lead Bible studies, act silly, and laugh at youth pastor’s lame jokes.
TIME COMMITMENT: 3-6 Hours per week
ADULT TRAINER:
In addition to the qualifications of an Adult Youth Leader (as described above), an Adult Trainer helps students reach outside their comfort zones to spread the Word of God in their community, state, country, and the world. Adult leaders work to prepare those in the next generation to expand the kingdom of God.
